I moved to Layton about 3 weeks ago because we are opening a new Brick Oven and I got a promotion!!!! No, but Layton is fun, I love my roommates, I live in an awesome place, and have a great ward. Although, I miss STG and all my friends; I am glad to have a little bit of change.

Well My BFF K-Town aka. Kallie; came to visit me for a weekend it was so fantastic. Luckily I was able to to take some time off from work. She arrived Friday around four and then we went to dinner and me, Kayla and Kallie went shopping at TJ Maxx N'more. Saturday we went to Zion's with my roommate Jess and had a blast! I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go again. We got home around 6, showered and we then went to dinner at Benja which happens to be my new favorite place to eat. Then Jess, Me and Kallie went hot tubing which normally I can't do for very long, but it felt so good since I had actually been doing physical activity. Sunday we went Horseback riding and got some breakfast, I was really sad to let her go after Sacrament, but I was ok since I would get to see her in a couple of weeks. Love you Kallie!

The Man Hug.

I'm going to be honest here (ha like I'm ever not...) but I find men hugging really funny. Not all the time, dang I'm not a extremist who has no heart! (jk sorry I'm a little hyper :) There are those times when guys hug and you can just tell that they have this connection (not in a weird way) and it's all awesome.

And then there are the times when this doesn't happen.

Most the time things just get awkward real quick. And I'm talking awkward in the way the word 'awkward' is awkward. One hugging party is maybe a little more into it, or the hug lingers a little long, but either way I think it's hilarious. And yes I find awkwardness utterly fascinating and cannot help laughing even when it's not appropriate. Today I witnessed the epitome of this type of man hug. I was walking behind this guy who saw a friend of his and they hugged. Well the first guy hugged for a little too long I guess because the second guy (who was facing me) unhooked his arms and started patting the other guys back. And this was patting like they "hey good buddy....I'm going to pat you because anything else is just weird" kind of pat. HA! And then he got this look on his face that was somewhere between a friendly smile and a grimace of pure discomfort. This moment was pure manna from heaven for my stressed, sickly and over-worked self and I couldn't help laughing. Ah the joy of witnessing that other people are just as weird as me

So, when I get back, I will still be by my lonesome till the 11th of January...How glorious! The only down side is that I will be missing this girls beautiful face.

So I will have the apartment to myself this Saturday and let me just say that I am so excited! Don't get me wrong I love my roommates, but I won't have to worry about being to loud or getting up too earl...yes that's right folks get up too early! IF you knew me at all when I was little no one wanted to have a sleepover with me because I woke up at like 6:30AM, NO JOKE! I will get to go to my brother's house on the 24th with my parents for a couple of days and see this little man. I ABOSLUTELY LOVE HIM AND HE DOESN'T KNOW THAT I AM COMING!

I am back from my mission, I came home 13 months early because of medical reasons. I never knew that you could love something so much, but it be so difficult at the same time; I imagine that Joseph Smith struggle with this too. He knew the Father and the Son, he loved this work, but yet it was so painful. I know that the short time time I had in Chile has been the best time in my life. To give someone such a great gift such as the Gospel it doesn't matter what happens because you have done what you were asked. In the words of Joseph B. Wirthlin..."Come what may, and love it."

After careful consideration, I have decided to leave my hair long for the time being. Thank you to all those who voted, but it will just be easier on my mission for my hair to be long so I can just put it up, since it will be hot.

Anyway, I go to CA tomorrow morning so I can go through the LA Temple. I am so excited that I get to go through with my family!

It Finally Came!

So I got home from work on Friday August 29th at about 4:30 PM, checked the mail lo and behold the glorious white envelope had arrived!!! I really want to upload the video of me opening it, but can't quite figure out how to do so...anyway you probably want to know when and where; so after 3 long months

I have been called to The Chile Santiago West Mission!!! Where I will be speaking Spanish and I report to the Provo MTC on November 5th. I am so unbelievably excited....I am going to CHILE!!!!

HOLY CRAP!!!

So I need to vent!!!! I was scheduled from 2:30-9:00PM, I have been wanting this particular shift forever, but as soon as I got to work; they asked if I could stay till 11 (there goes my Friday night). So I said yes because I had just taken a week off, i just couldn't say no. That put me in a little bit of a pissy mood, but I just tried not to think about it. So in we had two big parties of 30 and 40, I felt like it was some of the server's first day, honestly. Guests were very cranky and the kitchen was very very rude, and just did not help the situation. All in all it was a pretty rough day, but was made better because of all the great people I work with (the non-mean one's)

I mean I love Yoasis, but this stuff is magical! I am pretty sure I could eat 2 a day. So if you have a chance you should go, I only know of locations in CA; so it kind of sucks, but it's so worth it.

Erikka and I went to California over the weekend, (don't worry we drove...uggghhh) for our friend Morgan's wedding. It was so fun and really busy, I think I got a total of 18 hours of sleep from Wed to Sat night. It rained and even hailed on the big day, but don't worry we saved the cake! We drove back on Sunday (my birthday, BIG 22!) and my friends threw me a surprise party. I figured it out but, it was really fun...pictures to come from that.

This weekend has been so much fun! Friday night my roommate Laurie and I went to our other roommates wedding reception at Noah's in Lindon. It was gorgeous!!! So classy and chic like Marilee. So I know it's been forever! I went to the BYU vs Pepperdine...We won and there were some very annoying kids behind us, they seriously would not shut up until it was over, GAY! Even though I worked a ton I found some time to go to Laser Assault for my friend Trevor's birthday and it was so grand, except the day after when I was way sore. I become a supervisor on Jan. 5th so that's that. I am very excited because my parents are coming to Utah for Christmas and then the whole family will be together for New Years in California...SWEET!

Thanksgiving

I wen to New York/ New Jersey for Thanksgiving to see my sister and it was a blast! We went to the biggest toy store, The Statue of Liberty, The top of the Rockefeller, and tried to stay warm. My brother-in-law is MIA because he is in Law School and is super busy.
